What ShredIQ collects
When an athlete completes the ShredIQ Athlete Performance Profile, ShredIQ may store information the athlete or parent/guardian submits, including first name, age, football position and level, playing experience, questionnaire responses, training goals, coach feedback, calculated performance scores, strengths, development priorities, mindset score, and training-profile results.
For site operation and security, ShredIQ may also record limited technical information such as page/form events, browser or device information, timestamps, and a one-way hashed network identifier used to recognize repeated abusive requests. Raw network addresses should not be displayed in athlete profiles.
Why the information is used
ShredIQ uses assessment information to provide athlete results, help the trainer plan and personalize training, review athlete development, measure form usage and completion, maintain the service, and detect or prevent abuse and security threats.
ShredIQ should not sell athlete assessment information or use minor athletes’ assessment information for targeted advertising.
Minors and children under 13
ShredIQ is intended to be used with appropriate parent or guardian involvement when required. If ShredIQ knows that an athlete is under 13, personal information should not be collected from that athlete until the operator has provided the required notice and obtained verifiable parental consent, unless a legal exception applies.
A checkbox by itself should not be treated as sufficient proof of verifiable parental consent. Before accepting under-13 submissions in production, the ShredIQ operator must implement a legally appropriate parental-consent process or prevent under-13 users from submitting personal information.
Access and deletion
A parent or legal guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a minor athlete’s stored assessment information where applicable. Requests should be sent to: REPLACE-WITH-YOUR-PRIVACY-EMAIL.
Before acting on a request, ShredIQ may take reasonable steps to verify that the requester is authorized to make the request.
Retention and security
Assessment information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice or as required by law, then securely deleted. ShredIQ uses access controls, private database rules, server-side validation, rate limiting, and abuse logging as technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Service providers
ShredIQ may use hosting, database, authentication, security, or analytics providers to operate the service. The operator should configure those providers to receive only information reasonably necessary for their role and should review their privacy and security terms before launch.
